This Environmental Assessment (EA) has been prepared for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) to support an application from the Confederated Tribes of The Colville Reservation (Colville Tribes) for land to be placed into federal trust (Proposed Action). The BIA is the federal agency charged with reviewing and approving tribal applications to take land into federal trust status. The Project Site consists of approximately 34 acres in the City of Pasco, Franklin County, Washington. As a result of the Proposed Action, the Colville Tribes propose to develop a travel plaza, retail and/or office building, and associated parking on the Project Site.
